How to effectively reduce the consumption of electrical energy is a key topic in many studies electrochemical desalination. In this work, we use temperature difference drive continuous process dialysis The system consists thermoelectric unit and desalination connected series. includes generator (TEG), heater as heat source an air-cooled sink generate electricity for unit. contains two platinum-coated hydrophobic carbon cloths current collectors, mixture [Fe(CN)6]3-/4- anolyte catholyte, concentrated diluted salt streams with cationic one anionic exchange membranes separated configuration (CEM|AEM|CEM). During charging driven by difference, chloride sodium ions stream move cathodic reservoir, respectively. results show that concentration brine drops significantly from 5,000 ppm 344.3 decreases 0.06 mA initial 1.30 when maintained at 65 K.
